ECCT Event: Cervical Cancer Awareness Coffee Morning

Our first awareness raising event for the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust (ECCT) took place today at Masibanda Lodge in Hillside Harare. It was a Cervical Cancer Awareness Coffee Morning where a group of ladies were invited to come along and participate in sharing what they know about cervical cancer as well as participate in a photo-shoot. It was a very informative event where we had a mixture of women from different racial and socio-economic backgrounds finding common ground in this very pertinent issue that affects women across the board. There will be more coffee mornings and various other events over the next five weeks which will also include breast cancer awareness as this is generally the focus for the month of October.
